Happily retired Chef. Age 63. Married 40 years, Grandma five times. Live in Pine covered Mountains of Southern California.

Testimony:
I went forward at a Billy Graham Crusade in Los Angeles in 1963, one month after marrying my dear Bill. The Lord took my troubled spirit and made me a new person, free of drugs and quilt for life before Christ. My Lord has been faithful and my very best friend and Savior. My boss has always been Jesus where ever I worked secular or Christian. My precious gracious Lord even allowed my son to find me 32 years after I did a private adoption during my troubled time before Christ.

I continue to walk with my Lord and trust Him for strength and wisdom during this new season of our lives.

Resume:

• 27 years High altitude Camp/Conferance Center Food Service Manager and Lead Cook. We had our own 'off season' business providing Food Service for groups renting facilities lacking Winter Food Service. I would choose a camp each summer which would allow my girls to work with me as they were growing up. Many happy memories and lasting relationships resulted.
• Last 8 years I worked as a Food Service Supervisor and Chef in a prison setting. You will find some of my adventures in CCF Newsletters. I was injured on the job and was forced to retire early. The Lord has used my disability to open new doors of ministry. I can see His hand in all circumstances of my life.

Hobbies

• I love water exercise and teach a class for the Arthritis Foundation five days a week.
• My husband and I really enjoy Bird-Watching and have developed our own sanctuary in our mountain yard. Active with Bird Counts.
• I am so glad to be able to share some of my experience with fellow Chefs via CCF. I am able to help with High Altitude questions, Camp situations, Prison Culinary information, employee relations, etc.
• I have a ministry with folks with Chronic Illness and Pain, both secular and Christian. I have Fybromyalgia and have learned how to deal with this illness "naturally." I exercise a lot :>) for one thing.
• I am very active in the women's ministry at my church. I also coordinate the Nursery Workers for my church.
