When you get to the end of that rope...let go...its only then that you are free of everything that is holding you back from being in the spirit of freedom in Christ and in a state of total trust in God...
You are in my prayers...let us know what happens...and by all means..PRAY UNTILL SOMETHING HAPPENS!!!

Hello-

I do not know anyone in Seattle, but if you are willing to ask for help from strangers from other church denominations than your own, you may consider looking in the phone book for Catholic Social Ministries or even calling a Catholic Parish once you get to town. I cannot guarantee they can help you directly, but they may be able to connect or refer you to an organization that can. In our area, the Catholic Parish outreach is available for ALL people in need regardless of race creed or religion and the paperwork is minimal. Mostly they just want to have a record of the statistics of how many people used their services and under what circumstances. They may be able to direct you to shelters or safe places for your family to stay. As I understand it, The Catholic Social ministry would be run by the Catholic Diocese of that area and may be in the same offices as the main offices for the Diocese. A local Catholic Parish office Secretary should be able to direct you. It is doubtful that you would get any financial assistance, but I believe you may get help of some kind...and do not be discouraged if you are grilled and questioned to the nth degree...A lot of people try to take advantage of charity by scamming them for money and now church workers have been trained to screen everyone carefully. Do not be offended by this.

Good luck and God Bless.

Christ peace,

Hashi
