Is there a way to start an equipment trading/bartering section to this web page? Our Christian Camp has equipment that we don't utilize any longer. We are willing to swap/trade out for other items that could be usable. Anybody out there interested in this type of idea? IP: Logged |

I would suggest that it be posted in the Classifieds section...Classifieds I think is most appropriate. And that is a great idea! There may be folks who want to buy good used equipment, and ministries and churches who may be able to expand their food service ministry by obtaining equipment. There may be folk out there who may even have "Freee to Good home" God's home... Go for it!

Hi! People love used restaurant equipment. How would you envision the swapping/trading to work? I have a hard time envisioning how one would work out what a fair trade is regarding restaurant equipment. The same concept I think would work great, as Leo mentioned, in the "classifieds" section of the Message Boards. Being that I'm so close to you here I for one would be interested (for my employers) in what equipment you have available (and for what prices you're thinking). If this starts to get popular here on the website we'd be happy to start an entire section of our Message Boards for that purpose. IP: Logged |

New to the forum here, so where is the classified section? I have two large half moon bowls with round bottoms. I do not have the stands for these large bowls and never use them. They just hang on the wall day after day. One is stainless and one is aluminum. What would their value be and is anybody interested in an item like this? ------------------

Currently we're in the Culinary Q&A category of the Message Boards. If you go back to the main page of the Message Boards there's another category called "Classifieds".Anyway, I'm can't visualize the bowls off hand. Do you have pictures by chance? IP: Logged |

I know what they are the bowls fit into stands with wheels on them it is about hip high, so you can mix up your food then roll it around the kitchen. When I was working at the Baltimore Raven`s Stadium we had 3 of them ------------------ PEACE AND LOVE OF JESUS George [This message has been edited by jefegarme (edited September 14, 2008).] IP: Logged |

jefegarme,You are correct. I don't have the stands, but have two of these bowls hanging on my wall not being utilized, and not necessary. IP: Logged |
