Does anybody know how difficult it is to get to be a Certified Executive Chef (CEC) through ACF?I know there are education and experience requirements, which I meet, but what I'm curious about is the written and practical tests. Currently I'm not even a member of ACF, which I guess I'd have to do first, but that's another story :-). IP: Logged |

You posted this a long time ago but i was reading through some of them. I took the csc exem last year. I accualy had to take the test twice because i missed it by 1 question. So that was $75 down the hole. On the ACF website i think they tell you somewhere what catagories are on the test and a percentage of that kind of questions. Like Sanitation 10%, basic cooking skills 20%. I would defenetly buy the pretest so you don't get robbed like me. I got to by-pass the practical exam because i won a gold medal in an ACF approved compettion. If you win a silver or gold you don't have to take the test. I hope this helps and it is not to late.IP: Logged |

Thank you and no, it's not too late. I'm still interested in taking the test at some point, but haven't gotten around to it yet.IP: Logged | |
