hi Ira, Danny Russo i have heard of, a chef icon locally and abroad. I 'am 35 years old, originally frm williamsburg, Virginia. I moved to sydney at the age of 28 and been here in Sydney 8 years. ive been a head cook in Virginia for a several years . I started chefing in Sydney after a few months. its very challenging , and you must be creative as well, not to mention i had to learn new terminology opposed to culinary terms in the U.S. I have been taught much , and so much to learn yet. god bless you Ira, till the next time.IP: Logged |

Thanks for responding. Small world, I worked in Winchester, Virginia for a couple of years too.How did you get your visa there? Family? I tried a couple different ways and they were pretty unwaivering on not giving me a visa. I ended up volunteering the whole time I was there, but I would have loved to stay longer. I found a few ingredients to be called different things too, the most odd at first being "Rocket" (Arugula). The rest I don't recall right now. What type of restaurant are you at there?
